This permit allows persons to import plants and flowers
There are no eligibility criteria for this service.
- Applicant completes and submits the Application for Licence to Import Goods - Plants and Flowers.
- Applicant pays the relevant fee.
- After approval, the applicant will be issued with the permit.
- Applicant submits permit and phyto-sanitary certificate from the exporting country to an Agricultural Officer or Customs Officer at the port of entry.

- For Commercial Traders, a valid Business Licence is required.
- Phyto-sanitary Certificate from country of export.
Note:
- For persons outside of the Bahamas, monies can be sent as a money order or draft via Fedex or UPS or any courier service.
- Personal cheques will not be accepted.
