The Youth Leaders Certification Programme was designed to:
- Train, expose and sharpen the skills of present youth leaders in techniques and methods in your work.
- Provide training in leadership skills.
- Assist youth leaders and youth workers in developing competencies necessary to effectively manage young people.
- Formulate basic concepts regarding the role of Youth organisation.
This course is designed to cover a ten week period, comprising nice sessions, and a field study. Interested individuals may apply to the Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture, Division of Youth to participate in the Certificate Programme.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Forms may be collected at the Department of Youth or downloaded by clicking the link below.
- The applicant must fill out and submit the application form, along with supporting documents, to the Department of Youth.
- The Department of Youth will then acknowledge receipt of the application for a Youth Leaders Certification programme by phone or in writing.
- The Department of Youth will then inform applicant of the orientation date and the start date of the programme.
- At the successful completion of the Youth Leaders Certification programme participants receive a certificate of completion.

- A letter of recommendation from your organisation must accompany the application
There is a non-refundable registration fee of BS$25.
