World Diabetes Day "EXPO"
World Diabetes Day Health “EXPO” aims to educate the public at large about diabetes prevention, treatment and management. It is an ideal opportunity to promote a healthy lifestyle and emphasize the role it plays in reversing the upward trend of diabetes and its related complications.
The World Diabetes Day “EXPO” activities include a health fair of exhibitors displaying diabetes and health related products. The “Speaker’s Corner, Exercise Display” and “Live Radio Remote” provide direct interaction with the public. Other activities include free screening, newspaper articles, fun/run walk, radio and television shows and press conference.
