The Ministry of Health Emergency Operations Centre wishes to advise members of the public that relief healthcare staff and medical supplies have been deployed to Abaco and will soon also be deployed to Grand Bahama.

Currently there is severe flooding and limited access to affected areas. Consequently helicopters and boats are being utilized, therefore delays may be experienced.

We will continue to deploy medical care services to the affected populations.
