Breast Feeding Home Support Services

Mothers who are experiencing challenges regarding breastfeeding may receive further counseling and help through home visits from the Breastfeeding Facilitator. Referrals are usually made to this service by Post Natal Services. However, anyone may access this service directly, by contacting their Breastfeeding Facilitator to schedule an appointment. During these visits, mothers are shown practical ways to position the baby, and insert the complete areola into the baby’s mouth, along with other concerns and issues. More than one visit may be done, depending on the specific needs of each family. Sometimes, mothers merely need to feel confident that they are managing breastfeeding well. We are here to help you!
