The Bahamas Agricultural Health and Food Safety Authority (BAHFSA) is responsible for the importation of live animals and animal products into the Bahamas.
To apply, you must first register with Click2Clear at http://www.click2clear.gov.bs/.
Once you have successfully registered, follow the following three-part steps:
- Email click2clear@bahamas.gov.bs and request for your “password and username to be activated in order to apply for a pet permit with BAHFSA”
- You will receive an email with your password. Click the log in here button at https://bahfsabahamas.com/epermitting-for-imports
- Reset your password by typing in your username and the password you received and then changing it to the one you want.

Once you receive your permit, please give it to your supplier or Animal Health Authority in the country of export and request a sanitary certificate to accompany the permit.
