All businesses are required to apply to the Business Licence Office to change their business Mailing Address.  


Eligibility 

Existing Business Owner:

  • Partnership
  • Privately Trading companies
  • Publicly Trading companies
  • Limited Liability Partnerships
  • Limited Liability Company
  • Sole-  Proprietorships  
  • Home Based Businesses
Process 
  1. Collect the application form from any Business Licence Offices or online  
  2. The applicant completes and submits the application form.  Note: the applicant must tick the “change in Mailing Address” box on the form.   Where there are no Business Licence Offices, the form can be returned to a Treasury Office or a Family Island Administrator.
  3. Once all document requirements are met and the name is approved, the application is then processed within 7 working days.  The BLU office will contact the applicant to inform them that they can collect their licence.
  4. Changes will be reflected on the system.

Supporting Documents 
  • Valid Business Licence
  • Valid ID, Drivers Licence, Passport
  • Letter of authorization for Third Parties/Appointed Representatives, where a Third Party is used, such as an accountant or lawyer authorising them to conduct business on their behalf.

 

 

Turn-around time 
Once an application form and all supporting documents have been submitted, it is processed within 7 working days.
