This service is provided to assist agribusiness entrepreneurs involved in the cottage or food processing industry with information necessary to launch a business in the food industry, information on sourcing equipment, labeling and packaging, access to product testing facilities and basic training on food processing,





Eligibility 

There are no eligibility criteria for this service.

Process 
  1. Customers are invited to call into the Food Processing Unit to schedule a consultation (walk-ins are also welcomed but subject to availability)
  2. An officer will have an initial interview with the entrepreneur and assess the level of assistance needed.
  3. After the assessment, the client will be directed to the available service to meet their particular needs.
  4. The client is tracked throughout the process and given further advisement after each stage of the process.
