The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, through the Division of Youth, gives annual grants to organisations that are registered with the Division of Youth, to assist with Youth Organisation Strengthening.  Interested organisations may make requests to the Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture, Division of Youth.  Grants are provided at the discretion of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture.


Eligibility 
  1. Must be a registered organisation with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture for a period of not less than one year.
  2. All registration and reporting information must current and up to date.
  3. Demonstrated an active partnership with the ministry as evident in support and participation given to national meetings, training, events and celebration, in particular, the Ministry's National Youth Month.
  4. Must not have received a grant for the current year.
  5. Must meet the age category as defined by the ministry’s mandate.
Process 
  1. Forms may be collected at the Division of Youth or downloaded by clicking the link below.
  2. The applicant must fill out and submit the application form, along with supporting documents, to the Division of Youth.  
  3. Family Island organisations may submit forms to the Family Island administrator/Island coordinator.
  4. The Division of Youth will then acknowledge receipt of the application for a Youth Organisation Grant in writing.
  5. The Division will review the application to ensure that the applicant is compliant with the criteria outlined in the Youth Grant Policy.   
  6. New youth organisations may be required to meet with a ministry official to review the application and the objectives of the organisation.
  7. Applicants will be informed of approval or non-approval in writing.  
  8. Once the grant is approved, the applicant must go to the Division of Youth with photo identification to collect the cheque.

  • National Photo ID (Passport)
  • A formal letter outlining the list of the principal member of the Youth Organisation.  This must be submitted on the organisation letter head.

Applications are processed within a period of one month.
