Allow farmers to make requests on-line for Farmers Registration Certificate.





Eligibility 
  • Applicant must be a farmer and in possession of farm land (agricultural crown land, private, commonage, etc).
  • Non-Bahamian farmers must have permission to engage in gainful employment
Process 

Farmers must complete the required form.

  • Download form below or complete the form online by clicking the 'Go to Service' button above.
  • The information on the form is verified by the Department of Agriculture.
  • Farm Report is forwarded to Director of Agriculture for processing of Registration Certificate
  • Prepared Registration Certificate signed, dated and sealed with government official seal to authenticate document
  • Farmer signs and date Registration Certificate and is issued Registration Certificate card to conduct further business as a bonafide farmer

  3. Business License certificate (if an existing farmer)
  4. New applicants will need a copy of :

Turn-around time 
Approval can be given in five to seven( 5 - 7) working days
Deadline 
The approval for the service is only valid for the budget period. (Certificates expires every 30th June).

If the applicant is not satisfied with the service they have received, he/she may contact their local office at the addresses indicated above.

If satisfaction is not received, he/she may contact the Director of Agriculture at # 397-7450 or by visiting the Department’s Office on Gladstone and Munnings Road.
