- Contact the BAIC’s Agricultural department to set up an appointment to visit.
- Visit the BAIC at the appointed time.
- In person or over the phone interview/consultation needed to determine nature and scope of business
- Discuss your proposed initiatives.
- Complete a business plan application form
Application for Agriculture business plans or Executive Summaries can be found at http://www.baic.gov.bs/download-applications-1
Supporting documents for Agriculture business plan services are listed on page 5 of the Business Plan Application form.
Provided all required supplementary documents are received, business plans are prepared within 30 – 45 days. BAIC requests complete application form along with supporting documents within 15 days from initial interview/consultation with client If BAIC does not hear from client after 30 days, BAIC puts out a chaser (letter). If there is no contact fromBusiness plan preparation fees total $425 which consists of $50 non-refundable fee and a $375 fee at the completion of the business plan. Executive Summary preparation fee is $200
