Established in 1998, the Public Hospitals Authority (PHA) manages the three (3) government owned hospitals and Agencies:
 

  1. The Princess Margaret Hospital,
  2. Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre and
  3. The Rand Memorial Hospital, as well as all other health care services in Grand Bahama.
  4. The National Drug Agency (BNDA)
  5. The Materials Management Directorale (MMD)
  6. The National Emergency Medical Services (NEMS)
